COVID-19 Vaccine Information

The most important way to protect yourself, your family, and others around you is to get the COVID-19 vaccine. We strongly recommend COVID-19 vaccination. We continue to receive a significant number of questions about vaccine availability and distribution from our patients. The Vaccine supply remains limited. Below are some retail pharmacies who are distributing vaccine at this time:

Mass vaccine clinics have been added by the State of Maryland. You can register at: https://massvax.maryland.gov

Maryland will distribute the vaccines to five different priority groups based on relative risk of exposure or developing serious illness. Vaccine prioritization may be subject to change. The state has adopted a rolling vaccine allocation model, meaning it may not wait for every member of a particular group to get vaccinated before moving ahead; individuals will still have the opportunity to be vaccinated in subsequent phases.

WE ARE IN PHASE 1C

Continue to be diligent with hand washing and wear your mask! Cover sneezes and coughs, increase your hydration, maintain social distancing, and minimize non-essential travel. It is important to continue to follow these directives even after you receive your vaccine.

At this time, our State of Maryland and your county vaccine information websites are the best resources for updates regarding vaccine roll-out. This includes opportunity to register for Vaccine Clinics when available:
